Welcome To #i-am-newbie
We're a small bunch of computer enthusiasts from around the world gathered and formed an IRC channel for newcomers to the world of technology. Our channel is not focused exclusively on computer, but it's also a place to hang around and chat about different topics and just relax and have fun. This guide is meant to be an easy-to-fallow article on how to use our channel correctly and the IRC in general. It has also a set of rules and regulations that ensure order and safety in our channel , so please read then carefully and respect them when you talk in our channel.

  • To connect to #i-am-newbie channel.

>>Requirements<<
In order to connect to our channel , you have to download & install  an IRC Client on your PC/Laptop. There are several free IRC Clients avalible to download: irssi (http://irssi.org) | Xchat (http://xchat.org) | mIRC (http://mirc.co.uk). Then you have to add the Spotchat server to your server list and connect to it ( irc.spotchat.org is the address ) . Once done , use this IRC command to connect " /join #i-am-newbie ".

>>That's it!<<
Now you're in our channel , so you should see a list of the people that are connected to it to the right of Xchat window (expect some overwhelming welcomes ^^).

>>How to register<<
 Now the next step is to register your nickname to ensure no one else would use it other than you. Take your time to think of a nickname then type this command:
You might want to do a 
                 /nick <nickname> 
before theyregister.
                /msg nickserv register <password> <email>.
Where change <password> to a good password and change the email to yours email address 
like that
                /msg nickserv register kingofthechat sing7@gmail.com
After you have done that ,check your email to activate nick .

Now you are a registered  user. So you have to identify yourself after connect the network
to do this type 
                     /msg nickserv identify <password>
Do this in 40 sec after you've connected to the network. if time passes you will be mark as guestxxxxxx (where xxxxx is the guest no)
don't worry in this situation use this command 
                   /msg nickserv identify your_nick password 
after verified changed the nick by this
                  /nick your_nick

The channel operators assume that you have read, understood and  accepted the following rules:                                                                                                           
                                       
Exceptions can be arranged in consultation with the operators  - 
NOT allowed are: warez, xdcc, dissemination of pornographic, overexposure of violence or right-wing content and flooding respectively spamming trolling hacking or cracking activities or planning them in any way.
Ask people's before PM. No Random Highlight.      
The operators of this channel reserve the right to block users who breach these rules and to change the above rules without prior notice.
                                             
I got banned from #i-am-newbie. How can I get unbanned?
If you get ban from newbie ask some channel op there to remove ban from you to do this type: 
                             /msg memoserv send ani UNBAN <name name@vhost>
change  <name name@vhost> to  urs name hostname@vhost like
                             /msg memoserv send ani UNBAN foo foo@xxxx.xxxx
you can change ani to se7en, lonewolf or gizmodo
!do not use that command rapidly.
